Jim, have you considered how changing your identity may help? I find in my work with smokers that the most important thing I can do with them is help them change their identities from 'smoker' to 'nonsmoker'. In fact, it's one of the ways I teach people to quit even without hypnosis. If you choose to begin thinking of yourself as a nonsmoker, rather than an addict, you may find that things become rapidly easier.

Well, I AM a non-smoker. But I am also an addict. Anyone who has ever been addicted to anything is an addict.
Not sure if you've read through the posts here or not, but I'm fine. Not really any need for me to change my attitude per se. Where you refering to something in general or something in one of the posts here?
